If, just in theory, Anet decided to release an expansion to GW1 and an expansion to GW2, which one would you buy/prefer?

GW2. as much as I loved GW1 I stopped playing it long ago because the core mechanics of the gameplay got stale to me. Barely touched the Eye of the north content and didn’t play any of beyond.

I am still playing through GW1 and still love GW2 and even though they’re different games, still like them both.

GW2 by a mile. GW1 didn’t appeal to me at all and I don’t know anyone who played it for long after hitting max lvl/gear/getting the few skills they would actually use. Just wasn’t enough to do and didn’t have enough online component to be fun. Also the world was very very restrictive. GW2 solved all that for me and I can see myself playing for years if it continues on this way.

Never cared for GW1. Always felt closed in on that game.

GW2, I like quite a bit and can see myself playing this game for several years.

both, but probably the gw2 one first since I already put 7000 hrs into gw1 lol

GW1 because the only reason I stopped playing that was lack of real new content.
