I hadn’t noticed that many bots in many weeks but from about two weeks ago I started noticing more again. They’re more concentrated around the area’s that you grind at for specific items such as charged lodestones or powerful bloods. It started with two of them and I reported both of them about 5 to 10 times I expect, yet they still walk around and are a thorn in my side (since they kill the things I grind for a few hours every day or every other day). As of a few days ago, perhaps since that post, their numbers increased to about 7 running around the area. Is there anything else I can do so they are removed or banned faster?

I am posting this to try to create more awareness and to find out if there’s anything else we can do to get them banned faster. A lot of effort had been made, but judging by increasing numbers again, I wouldn’t say that botting has been dealt a decisive blow, as Mike suggested. On the other hand, besides these bots (that add up to 7 bots now), I don’t generally encounter them so often.

How is this percieved on other servers? Does this occur on other servers as well?

(Naturally, I hope this increases awareness for ArenaNet since it is becoming more annoying to me and a few friends of mine now that there numbers have increased)

They said it takes some time for them to gather enough information to ban them. You just have to wait until the next big wave of bots is cleared. Also, these kinds of threads usually get closed soon. The forum mods don’t like them.
