Q:

Honest question. Will they continue to be ran seeing as how the rewards won’t even be best in slot…?

I think most (many, at least) of people run dungeons for the skins, not for stats. Sooooo… yeah. If not, that only proves that everyone still playing does indeed want gear progression thus making whine over new patch even more ridicilous.

Haven’t noticed a lot accessories on the dungeon vendors.

Is there a tab I’m missing?

Actually most people ran dungeons for the (no longer) max stat exotic gear.
There is now no point in that.

There are two tabs on each vendor, with the default looking normal gear and the one with custom skin. Aside from that, i don’t think vendors will sell anything else. Unless i’ve missed something too.

Na its gonna be hard to get groups for these instances… even harder than it is already. It was a good system when all gear was endgear and there was no better… Nothing got old….

Look at it in wow… why would anyone go and run the violet hold instance for level 80 when they can go do a level 90 instance with plenty of gear.

Let’s hope they add difficulty settings to them.

Current difficulty to get ascended, a little easier to get exotics, way easier for rares, and more difficult for infusions.

Exotics are still viable.

1 – You have more options for the trait sets you want
2 – You can modify them to work for your build.

What do you expect to be using while waiting for the entire ascended set to roll out and while you are hunting for all of the pieces you need with the right stats? Exotics if you want to be efficient. And current dungeons are still a direct path to an exotic set.

This isn’t including the people that just want the skins. And assuming they don’t have ascended variants of the dungeon gear for some insane amount of tokens.

The dungeons will be ok.
