You should remove the name, before a Mod drops by and does so. Just a tip. =)

Thanks man.

The problem with that tactic is that it allows time for the perpetrator to sell, use, or ship their ill-gotten goods and skew the economy. By the time the user or account is banned, the goods are already consumed.
My guild is moving to another server very soon. That means I need to generate enough revenue to finance the gems for this move. My primary source of income for this trip is hunting and gathering T6 materials in Orr.
When someone is bot farming for days on end, it has the unpleasant side effect of lowering the value of the very items I’m attempting to sell, making my task more difficult.
This reason for this post (and my confusion) is the in-game feature. When I reported this behavior, the message I received was “Reporting a player for botting sends a notification to the GM team.” Naturally I assumed that meant some action would be taken by whomever is reading these notifications. It’s the message itself that’s deceiving, as it seems to indicate a more immediate response.
Hi everyone,
If you see someone botting please report it, either using the in game tool or providing evidence to the CS team. In any case, while we thank you for your concern about bots, please remember that posting about it in the forums does not help,. and thus it shouldn’t be done.
Thanks for your understanding.
