So I just got 100% in cursed shores and have to say who’s idea was it to award level 78 armor as a reward for a level 80 area?

What possible use does a level 80 character have for level 78 exotics?

Ectos, precursors and the nice skin they have :p (the armors, the weapons are bland)

ecto if already got 80 exos or use til get 80 exos then turn into ecto

I think it’s a valid complaint. A level 80 zone should reward level 80 armor.

Especially now, considering the difficulty of some temple areas to complete and lack of people in the zone to help

yeah and stop with yellow transmutation stones already, give us something we can actually use, like the blu ones!

I think most level 78 exotics are worth more selling than salvaging. O_o

Personally, I try to only use sub-80 exotics for transmutation so I wish more people would sell them.

Absolutely correct. If you are LvL 80 and in a LvL 80 zone you should be awarded nothing less than a LvL 80 reward. The reward vs. effort is absolutely terrible.

It isnt about the gold from selling them, its about getting the right reward for level area you are in.

Transmutation Stones are FREE after completing most cities….
But Transmutation stones only works with gear that’s level 79 & below.

Transmutation Crystals cost money/gems and we can’t get them from anything else except BL chests (and the drop rate is a lousy 3%). Some people swore they’ve gotten them from other activities, but those people were just confusing Crystals for Stones.

Add to this: if you’ve been playing the game long enough, then you’re NOT DOING COMPLETION FOR GEAR b/c you already have more gold than you’ll ever need for buying 80 gear outright
