Cursor bugg?
How old are your mouse and keyboard? Something could be clicking when it shouldn’t. For example I use right-alt for my Mumble push to talk. Sometimes when in Mumble I find that I can’t drag items around in inventory because they want to split the stack instead, as my alt key is slightly depressed and I have to joggle it a lot to fix that.
Since you’re seeing loss of target, your mouse buttons may be dying. One of those pushed down could de-target and make you keep turning one direction.

Well the turning in circles is causes by me trying to strike left and right when the cursor pops up. I got my mouse like a month after the release of gw2 and never noticed this problem in any other game. You havent ran into this problem?
I have not. Now and then in any game I find my character unstoppably running forward or moving to one side or another, and it’s always because a keyboard key is stuck.
Targeting loss happens in GW2 very easily if you use your left mouse button to pan your camera. It used to also happen on a right click but after a very long thread they fixed that.
Your problem might be several unrelated issues happening simultaneously due to how you play. I suggested the mouse because that would account for both a new click and a stuck movement at once. I am not an expert, though, so you may want to ask this in the tech support forum.
Is it cold and dry where you are? I have the same problems with my mouse when the humidity is low (Logitech G500) and this is a known problem with this mouse. See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWJk4EWfyOA

I’m using a Razer Naga. It is cold in my room though so that might affect it.

Next time you have that problem, take a deep breath and exhale into your mouse through one of the openings in the casing a couple of times. If this fixes the issue for a brief minute it’s a humidity problem.
