Guild Wars 2

So I am stuck between D/D Ele or D/D Necro. Cant decide which would eventually be better in the long run for pve and wvw. If anyone wouldnt mind helping me I would be greatly appreciated.

I am only gonna do one for now so I want the better one for my first lol also would liek to use it for farming as well so if there is another class you would like to share your input on please do

For farming I use a D/F necro. I switched from D/D because Focus 4 made more sense than Dagger 4 (vulnerability and regen versus blind/condtion transfer). Survivability on the necro is excellent, better in PvE as far as actually winning 1 v 5. It also kills faster because I am able to stack Power over 2300 whereas a bunker ele build will not get that high. Supplementing the Dagger necro with a Wells build to get some AoE, condition removal and healing improves one’s options.

D/D Ele is much more dynamic. Eles need to switch attunements a lot and often must use most of what’s at their disposal to win fights. On Necro you will be using Dagger 1 80 to 90 percent of the time, as D2, 3, 4 and 5 are all situational skills.
