Yes. They made then abandoned gw1 because the game’s engine wouldn’t let them do what they wanted to do. Now that gw2 its getting its first expansion they are planning to ditch this game also and spend several millions producing gw3. Leaving this game to die a slow death while they pray the new game doesn’t fall on its face like most of the other new releases.

I don’t want to start an argument but I honestly think what we have in guild wars 2 is all we are ever really going to get more or less, Yes we have had a few maps since release and I could be wrong but I don’t believe we are ever going to see any big areas open up like cantha/elona or even smaller areas like crystal desert/ring of fire islands in guild wars 2. heart of thorns looks good but what is it 1 new map with 3 layers? Just wanted to know If anyone knew if anet had plans to start development for guild wars 3 at some point maybe after heart of thorns.

I wish people would stop with this 1 map missinformation already how many more blogposts interviews and stuff do the devs have to say that there are maps.
