Why is it that I can never get a useful transmutation stone for my level 80? These lower stones are worthless and pile up in my bank. I can’t use them for anything. Please consider changing these to the high stones that are actually worthwhile for characters that are level 80.

That would reduce gem store purchases and thus would go against the manifesto.

At least you’re getting them. All I seem to keep getting is bank/merchant things, and I don’t even get those pretty infrequently.

You can also get them from map completion and black lion chests, but not often.

I’d actually rather have the bank/merchant items as I use them much more often. (Except when I get down to just a few and start thinking I should save them ‘just in case’.)

Many people complain about the game not being alt friendly. Those stones are in fact very alt friendly — I shove them in my bank and never worry about spending them on looks for new alts. I love how easy they are to get.

There isnt much of a point in used the lvl 79 ones when leveling. I have many alts and have probably 100 of them in storage. If we could toss them in the forge then maybe that would help the issue.

Yeah, I have a big stack of them as well since I earn them faster than I have use for them (rarely, as I worry about gear/kitting characters out more at max level). Once I get all level 80s, oh boy.

I’d like to see a way to “merge” these into the level 80 transmutation stones – gets rid of one pile, adds to the one that is looking suspiciously like I’m going to be needing a lot more of it…

Haven’t seen them for some while – might be that I have most of the map completed, except for a few area’s and a couple of obnoxious poi’s/hearts/vista’s …

One stone from a random daily reward won’t break their bank. They are making a ton of money. I like the idea of being able to merge a pile of them into a level 80 stone.

P.S. I don’t remember anything about the store in the manifesto.

I like the idea of being able to use them in MF recipes. I also have a ton of these in my bank and no low level alts to use them on, nor do I plan on making any, so ya… totally useless for me too.

So ANet, how about it? Can we find some other way to use these or ?

This is my situation. I usually don’t post very much and I’m not trying to complain, but these stones are stacking up and I have four level 80s. I’m not leveling any more alts and I would like to find a use for them. If we can’t have level 80 stones, at least let us do something with these stones that are taking space.

Any player who has done 100% map completion has enough for 7 alts easily.

Almost 250 of them now. I’d be happy even if I could convert at a 100:1 rate just so I get to use them up.
