Since the “new” daily inception there has been a lot of complaints.
These come from people wanting more freedom, more variety or diversity or people that just want it easy.
My big issue with the new daily system is frankly that we are gaining achievement points. We are achieving something – hence the name. But what really are we achieving in our dailys?

Daily Vista Viewer
Daily Mystic Forger
Are these really achievements worth getting points for?
So what is my suggestion to this?
Remove the current daily system on accounts that have reached a set level of AP ~ My suggestion for this would be 2000 AP. By this point I feel most players have a decent understanding of the game. They would get their 2k AP chest and understand the basics of how AP is gained.
Replace the dailys with more challenging content that has a large variety of options.
These are just some examples of what could potentially replace the current daily ideas~
I am suggesting having 8~ per day per section and having
Only 2 of any of these dailys would be required per day
PvE~
-Specific Jumping Puzzle / Specific Jumping Puzzles that are deemed “tricky” (silverwastes/scavenger’s chasm type ones)
-Fractals Scale (30+/40+50+)
-Dungeon Explorable Path (70+ dungeons only [or 80..]) CoF/CoE/Arah/HoTW.. I guess any dungeon exp path could be included in this
-Ascended Crafting Material (Ties in with the daily anyway and does require SOME player input)
-Daily Dry Top event completer (Swap with Silverwastes/Southsun/Frostgorge/Orr – Only 80 zones)
-Daily Tequatl/Trip Trouble/Vinewrath (Only the “hard” world bosses)
PvP~ I’m lacking creativity for WvW/PvP dailys i’m sure others can think of more challenging ones

PvP Defender ~ 10 players
PvP Stomper ~ 10 stomps
PvP Winner ~ win 10 games in PvP
WvW~ I’m not a WvW’er I’m sure other people can think of more challenging WvW daily tasks

Siege Master ~ Minimum of 100 supply used on building Siege
Repair Master ~ Minimum of 100 supply used on Repairing
The idea of these honestly, is to make people actually put some time and effort in for their achievement points.
I am aware most people will tell me this is a stupid idea. That they want to complete their daily and get their AP without it interrupting their game play, but why do they really need that AP.. and what are they even achieving by doing their daily :/
Rewards for these could be increased accordingly. However, people are getting 10 AP for their daily which is the reward at the end of the day.
For a Fractal 30, the reward could be a +5 Agony Infusion. For a Fractal 40, it could be a +8, and for a Fractal 50 it could be a +10.
Or, for a fractal 50 it could be a Fractal Weapon Chest :o! ~Throwing it out there you know.
For PvP Rewards we could see 10~PvP reward potions or 15. It could give a chest containing a Tribal Armor Box ~
For WvW Rewards we could see Superior Siege boxes- containing 10x whatever superior siege item you wanted (5 golems) Or we could see Kegs of Liquid World Experience.
I get these rewards are probably way over scaled to the actual dailys. But in my opinion these would be the incentives to play the more “challenging” or more “time consuming” dailys.
Right now we have people wanting the easy options that take less than 5 minutes. Then they log off until the next day.
These rewards for the higher teirs of the game actually give people something to aim for.
Oh people get a reward for doing a 30+ Fractal? Maybe I’ll push up to 30+ Fractal.
Oh people get a nice reward for doing events in Dry top? Maybe I’ll do some Dry top events.
Right now, the rewards are too generic and there is no incentive to do the “difficult” dailys. There is no reason to both with anything “difficult”.
~As I’ve said, I know this wont get a look in by developers. I know the entire forum base is going to condemn me for thinking we need to actually work for AP. But at least I suggested it :c~
