This is something that has been bothering me for a very long time. Namely, damage floaters obscuring animations almost completely.
The first of these pictures below is a necromancer during Chilblains (staff #3) cast.
The second picture shows the exact same situation when chilblains was just completed.
If you wanted to dodge this cast (and many, MANY others) you would need X-Ray vision. In this situation it is literally impossible to see. Same goes for a large amount of other skills, not just necromancer Chilblains. In fact, most things that aren’t melee attacks or projectiles with travel times are guilty of this problem in to some extent.
I support the notion of Guild Wars 2 being played through animations and skillful game-play. A toggle for Damage Floaters would greatly help towards this.

Damage floaters obscuring animations is a huge flaw in this game that could be fixed with a toggle for “Show damage floaters”, just like a toggle for “Simple condition floaters” was added.
