Would ANET put a notice up on their login page that the USA is changing to Summer time this Sunday the 9th of March?
Europe does not change until the 30th and I am sure it will lead to a lot of confusion since the company is based in the USA.

But I believe the daily reset is always UTC 0 and BLTC reset on sales as UTC 8.

What difference will being on DST in the US make? Daily reset is 4pm PST and 5pm PDT. Which means it is always 00.00 UTC time.

If they put up a notice, it would only be to help some of us who forget to move our analog/non-automated clocks ahead. Lol.

Events are based on server time.

So just to make sure I understand correctly: Reset is currently 7pm Eastern (US). Once we “spring forward”, reset will be at 8pm, right?

ANet doesn’t need to put up notifications. Server time is UTC – 0:00, and all resets are based around that time, which isn’t changing. The only confusion to be had is with players who don’t follow time conventions.

So, will everything be earlier or later now?

A bit confusing since my country (Venezuela) doesn’t do the time shuffle for summer/winter.

In spring time goes forward an hour. 8 will be 9 etc.

If your country doesn’t use Daylight Saving Time, your reset would not change (locally).

Blah, it’s time to spring forward already. I hate DLST

The time for the livestreams and embargo lifts will change for Europe until end of March.

I know this is off topic a bit and may seem strange but in honor of daylight savings, which I hate, I’m going on a tech fast for a week. This means to me no Internet and no cable TV. I don’t have a landline so my cell phone will only be used for basic phone calls when needed. No texts or using my phone for anything other then calls. As I said, off topic. Anyway, see you all in a week. I bet you can’t wait.
