Q:

As the title suggests, a need for armor storage is something that is becoming more and more evident as the game progresses. Each armor set takes 6 slots from our bank excluding trinkets and weapons. And each time we get an armor from the gem store we have to have 6 pieces of armor to put it on. At a certain point this is becoming a real issue, no matter how many bank slots we get.

Something similar exists in spvp and i believe its quite successfull. So…a lot of the code for this is already there. I understand that this is probably more technically challenging but it is quite unfair having to lose skins which cost us $ to buy just to be able to use a different skin.

Its been 1 year already and i would like to know if this functionality is still planned. An official response would be greatly appreciated.

I vote “No” and in my opinion you probably should find a way to control your hoarding. You must love every single other aspect of GW2 for something so trivial to be at the forefront of your concerns.

Your response is much appreciated even though i disagree with your approach in your post in the other thread simply due to the fact that you assume the most ineffective way of storage.

Weapon/armor storage can simply store skins, not all the armors with the stat variations in them. Doing otherwise would be nothing short of insanity. I have mentioned the example of spvp armor/weapon storage which works great. Transmuting those skins back could require transmutation stones as it does now, without having to lose the skin itself.
