Dear Anet. Mini's you cant get anymore
According to the wiki the Mini Turai Ossa is unimplemented content – it’s never been available.
But with the others I agree. They’re better than some (Mini Mr. Sparkles for example) in that you can at least get them from the trading post (for an insane amount of gold) but because they don’t drop any more there’s only a finite number in the game and every time someone adds one to their wardrobe that goes down. Sooner or later it’s going to run out completely and that would be a huge shame for people who want them and come along too late to get them.
And if anyone’s wondering I already have all of them, I’m not saying this because I’m too lazy or ‘entitled’ or whatever to pay the current gold price (although I am relieved I got most of them when they were much cheaper). I just think purely cosmetic items should be accessible for everyone who wants to get them. Not handed out for free with no input from the player, but obtainable in a reasonable method. It seems silly that my Mini Yellow Moa cost me about 25g and now it’s one of the most expensive minis on the TP, when it’s available at all. Currently there are none for sale and people offering over 200g.

I think this is a good sign that the others might well be added in future. No idea when of course, but it looks like they are willing to do it.

I think they only ever dropped from enemies during the Lost Shores event in 2012.
There’s been rumours on and off ever since that the hatchlings drop from young karka, that the mini karka drops from veterans or the queen or from the chest at the end of the event, or even that both of these and the mini reef drake can drop from any enemy in southsun, but I’ve never seen proof of a confirmed drop or even someone claiming they got it. The closest I’ve seen is someone saying someone else pinged one after the Karka Queen fight and they assumed it came from the chest.
That’s not to say it doesn’t happen, but it’s extremely unusual for something that does drop to go this long without proof being posted somewhere.
