Dear Anet, i rejoined your cool game and again im loving it so much,
but having that said what i dont undestand and want to ask you guys is the following and leave some feed back of my own.

I love your new expansion but why did you nerf gold income so much?

I came back after 2 years and i am now struggling to get some gold seeing teleporting everywhere takes way to much, i amd doing everything i can to make gold , farming/recycling/auc/questing but what ever i do the income in insanely low.
Pleae for god sake give us a good way of making some decend gold.

i know the auc needs to rebalance after this patch but if i a returing player am struggeling so much to get gold, how bad wouldnt it be for a free player.
you always said you wanted to make this game newbie friendly, but at this rate its not.
i do believe nerfing the dungeons wanst the correct way to go about seeing nobody want to do dungeons even more now, you might as well remove them. Seeing there are beter ways of getting loot nowadays. please make the dungeons more intresting and maybe add a system where you can get some more gold from them. So returing and newplayers can finely have a bit of income again. i dont wanna sound threating or sound like a jerk, but this is really killing the fun for me and seeing there are more “newer mmo’s” i might just go try my luck there seeing guildwars is now becoming a grind fest to get some money.I under stand there are a few “rich people” in the game but hey they played your game for 3 years now thats normal.

Hope someone from anet will replay to this and anwser my question why this was done? and if there are some change maybe comming to this. because i dont want gw2 turning in to a chinees grind fest.

Gold is way easier now than it was 2 years ago I quit 2 years ago as well and came back about a month ago in that short month i made the incinerator from scratch and now about to finish my bifrost. here’s a tip use www.gw2efficiency.com and check your materials storage and bank for items to sell some people don’t see the value in their items you could have missed about 100g+ in your material storage

If you don’t mind crafting then converting raw mats to a more finished mat gets you more gold, for example ore to ingots or scraps to bolts. If you make a farming run, harvest all you can then craft all to planks and ingots then you’ll make several gold that way.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

This might seem shicking, but the best gold these days is actually playing the game by participating in map metas, doing events, or hitting gathering nodes.

I’m a fairly casual player, I can only play a few hours a day at most and I don’t like farming or flipping items on the TP. But even then I can usually make about 10g a week.

This week I’ve actually managed to make about 200g because I want the mini Gwynefyrdd and farming gold is easier than farming 100,000 candy corn directly. This is obviously not through normal play, but I’ve not been playing more than usual either, just focusing on things I know will make me gold rather than what I find fun.
