This game has gone full on Asian grinder.

You should really try playing an asian grinder at least once. It really gives you perspective.

Next, try any other large western MMO.

Then, try GW2 again. This is the first game where I have a realistic shot at getting BiS gear.

If I can’t play Guild Wars 2 at work, I won’t work in Guild Wars 2 either.

yeah if it was EA at least we would get something worth-while. Super adventure box isn’t exactly my idea of a good time.

bf4 in under 2 month, gw2 gonna be taking a big back seat for a while

I lament they’re putting out new content too fast, actually. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful in any fashion, by any means. We’ve had back to back events for a while now. Pretty much ever since Southsun. I’ve only got about four to five hours daily on average that I can spend meandering about in my current favorite MMO. The majority of that I typically spend collecting whatever it is I need for daily, which is usually achieved in my preferred pond, World verses World. I simply don’t often have the time to devote too much attention elsewhere, and certainly not to juggle all these things bidding for my attention at the same time, month after month.

In short, Anet… let me play the game lol. Take a breather once in a while, and let us do the same.

Now for the good part, thanks for returning SAB to us so soon! I cried the first time I saw it last April. Actual literal tears of nostalgic overload, lol. Granted, I know some of that emotional instability was no doubt down to all the mental and physical imbalance brought on by just having had my daughter the week or so prior to SAB’s original release, but still…

I even considered making her middle name “Moto”… for all of about three seconds. XD

but what if you went into McDonalds thinking you were getting a free burger and they gave you KFC instead?

Great analogy. That’s pretty much what happened from my point of view.

“I don’t want your free finger-licking good drumstick!
I want my free cheeseburger!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
I hate you!!
You’re a loser!!”

Spoiled brats that you just want to high five
on the face
with a trebuchet.

No, not really.

No grind – Yes there is.
New Content – New mini games for 2 weeks at a time.

I couldn’t care less if its free or not, but doesn’t mean I am getting what I ordered when I walked through the door.

And it isn’t free because you paid to walk through the door.

That’s a pretty bad analogy. You paid for the gw2 game as it was. These content patches are free. It doesn’t matter that the developers are being paid in gem store purchases. Did you buy gems for whatever you wanted those gems for, or did you pay for them knowing if you didn’t, there’d be no content patches?

The point is that you bought the game, you bought gems, but you didn’t buy the new content. Free. An overall better analogy would be to say you bought a hamburger for the hamburger, and got some fries thrown in for free. (let’s ignore that in this scenario, these fries may have given you food poisoning.)

I have to agree that going back to old zones over and over is not new content…
Draven, I dont think that they are the vocal minority anymore; maybe they never were. Most of the people in my guild want living story to end and to get a new expansion.
