It has come to the attention of the Tyria Gliding Club that our members are being unfairly imprisoned for engaging in an active outdoor pursuit in direct contravention of airspace regulations.

You will no doubt be aware that there are no airstrips or landing fields within the vicinity of Rata Sum, meaning that there are no regulations applicable to the restriction of other air traffic, including unpowered craft. Nor are there any other posted airspace restrictions in the area. Furthermore, Rata Sum does not, to the best of our knowledge, operate or maintain an air traffic control centre.

Despite the above, several dozen members of the Tyria Gliding Club have been unlawfully detained by your Peacemakers for flying their gliders quite legally in Metrica.

Please cease and desist all illegal capture and confinement of our club members, or we may be forced to consider our legal options.
