In the box you get when you first buy guild wars you got to choose from 3 armor sets, one from each armor rating. I chose the heavy (can’t recall name). But later I found armor I thought looked better and kept the skins in my bank, but as I got more and more stuff I needed to keep in my bank and that armor was taking up lots of space, I ended up tossing it out. Now that we have this wardrobe system coming, is there no way for me to get it back? I may use it on another character at some point.

Only by purchasing it, unless you saved, at least, one piece.

Your best bet is to make a new character, get the armor skin, delete it, and then keep doing that until you get all the stuff. That’s my plan, anyway.

while I plan to do that, I mean the one of 3 sets you get from a box from buying your GW2 copy. I knew I should have kept them ;_;

What are you talking about? primeval armor is only given once.

If you have deleted ALL of the skins you may have to apply a ticket to ANet asking them to reinstate it (they have done so in the past).

With this said, as long as you have 1 of the item skins left you will be able to unlock the entire 6 piece set using that piece. e.g – I have deleted all but the helmet of one of my skins, I equip that helmet and it will unlock helmet, shoulders, chest, legs, gloves and boots of that specific set.

This only works with the paid-skin sets though. For common/cultural/dungeon/temple skins you will have to acquire each piece individually to unlock the full set.

Doesnt work. The Profane, Primeval, and Kyrtan sets are only given once per account. If they deleted the once they received, they’re SOL unless support decides to give them back.

How does Wardrobe affect my Gem Store purchases?

If any of your characters are wearing or own any piece of an armor set (such as the Profane armor set or the Magitech armor set), all of the remaining pieces will be unlocked in your Wardrobe in addition to any pieces currently on your character or in your inventory. Any newly purchased armor sets will need to be taken from the in-game delivery mail and the bundle then will need to be used in order to unlock the full armor set. Please note that skins or partials skins that you previously purchased but which you no longer possess will not be unlocked on your account. The Guild Wars 2 Support Team cannot unlock skins that fall into this category.

I am doubtful CS will replace the armor you deleted per the above KB statement.
