It’s clearly not gone. You obviously used the Splitter and got it back right after. I know you did, because I tried this with Quip, and it works the same way.

No you didn’t. You transmuted your twilight, that is not destroying, especially since you can get it back.

Nothing to see here folks. OP underestimated the forumers thinking no one would figure out he used the splitter to get it back right away.
All legendaries and Ascended should go this route then the game would be closer to its predecessor…
