Getting a rune/sigil every time I salvage a blue/green item is getting me down. The sigils/runes take up inventory space and you sometimes can’t get to a vendor to sell them. Solution destroy them out of the inventory by clicking one for one….. Wastes time.

Now for the question :

If I write a macros to destroy all of them automatically will I get banned??

Do you have any other suggestions expect the macro? (I don’t use these runes/sigils at all and see them as junk)

Macros are aginst the TOS. I wouldn risk it, woulb be a shame to loose your account over this

My advice is; as long as you are not in an instance and have a guild with a guild hall. Get the regular merchant and then use the ‘Guild hall’ in your guild tab then go to the merchant sell and then ‘leave guild hall’ in your guild tab and continue.

My concern with this is, if I go that way Will I return to the same map or to an empty one?

this shows how bad the situation is… someone asking if a macro for deleting those is allowed

Anet please just give us an option already to remove the chance of salvage kits to salvage upgrades… or maybe a merchant that exchanges the normal infinite salvage kits to a version that has 0% chance of salvaging upgrades
most people i know never want the upgrades to be salvaged unless it is an exotic rune/sigil but then they would use the Black Lion Salvage Kit anyway where the chance is 100%

and anet even buffed the chance to salvage runes /sigils on the infinite salvage kits…
very annoying and probably only 5% of the playerbase actually enjoy getting minor/major runes that are worth so little

And dont tell me even the tiny things make profit…
People bought the infinite tools for convenience! And then the convenience is taken away by being forced to delete tons of worthless minor/major sigils and runes
People already gave away 800 gems for the salvage kits so they cant tell me they wanted it for profit …. because then they would have never spent 800 gems on it when being able to get the same results with the normal 25 use kits
They want convenience and the convenience is ruined by those lower tier runes/sigils

a change for this would be really nice

edit: EdgarMTanaka.7291, your idea to go to GH and back just to sell worthless junk upgrades that shouldnt be filling your inventory in the first place is a bad solution to the problem in my opinion…
it even takes more time to load to GH and back to your zone for most people than just deleting all sigils/runes manually quick

I hope we get option like right click to salvage all rare and below and option to not have minor and major sigil rune

I just mail them to someone who is offline so they have a nice ‘gift’ when they log in

Can we please get the option to salvage Sigils/Runes for rare crafting materials?

A lot of the “garbage” ones (Ogre slaying anyone?) are made with decently valuable materials. Making them salvageable would raise the value on the many pointless ones while also making it easier to clear them out of your inventory.

This is a good idea. Either this, or a [Princess]-style consumer of sigils that grants stackable gifts.
