ANet, I’m glad you are implementing the sidekicking system for this weekend event so that those of us who haven’t reached level cap can get to experience it. I have some questions.

1) Will sidekicking work for the new dungeon, or just the open world stuff in the new zone?

2) Do we need to be in a party with a level 80 friend, or will the level increase happen automatically when we enter the zone like in WvW?

3) How long will this be in effect? From server reset Thursday until reset on Sunday? Or a different time frame?

1. The dungeon may not even be open for the duration of the event. Due to the point of the dungeon though, I wouldn’t expect it to sidekick you.

2. The island will automatically sidekick you for the duration of the event.

3. For the duration of the event, starting from when you can travel to the island to sunday night, up to noon the next day.

The dungeon has been more or less announced as permanent content so I doubt it will have scaling in place
