Dev tems dont listen do they?
10g is a good price, I didn’t realize I could sell Arah spots for 10g…
You know I completely agree. Guild Wars 2 right now is in “Beta-like” build with a few new tricks. Living Story was nice, but it was introduced WAY too early in the games production. The game released without a TON of polished or even necessary systems. My biggest peeve is the lack of Guild management and even basic guild functionality. No guild halls, no GUILD WARS, and no last logged, and guild commanders. The dungeons are a joke and basically a cake walk and a ton of exploits. In my opinion if Anet does not deliver on these upcoming “Content/Feature” releases, I am going to quit. I have nothing to do, and what there is to do is time gated.
Anet doesn’t have the resources nor do they care to fix bugs and glitches which are in the game since release. So yeah, to answer your question, they don’t listen.
Simple as that.
I’m kinda disappointed on how a lot of things that were promised at launch are still not in the game today such as the shooting range in DR and the 30+ minigames they talked about in a pre launch blog post that is no longer up for reading today.
I’ve always felt like Everquest Next will finally be the new mmo to have that feeling like “I’ve found my home” of course I’ve felt the same way for gw2 before being highly let down at launch I hope this time I’m right.
Don’t worry <generic mmo> is right over the horizon, and will definitely entertain you endlessly forever. I know I’ve said that before, but I really mean it this time.
Also, GW2 was released in what… 2012? I think two years is a little late for the whole “You better get your stuff together SOON or I’m going to quit! I mean it! I’ll really do it!”
Take a lesson from ESO? lol
Take a lesson from ESO? lol
There will actually be many lessons for Anet out of ESO and EQ Next. The only question will be whether they fall on deaf ears. I’m betting on deafness.
they listen but professional gaming organizations consider .5~1.5 year turnaround times for balance patches unacceptable
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions

I have read stuff like this on so many other MMO boards about so many other new games.
And than those game had barely any players left or shut down.
ESO will drain its fair share of players from GW2 and so will all other releases. And in the current state of GW2, people won’t come back but jump from new release to new release.
