To the devs responsible for this set, I must say they are completely amazing. I have already purchased the focus and sword (even though I own bolt), and considering another three for my mesmer. It’s not just the subtle particle effects they have, but they are extremely elegant. The color theory is spot on, and the art deco inspired features have a lasting appeal.

Please make more sets of this quality.

I agree. My only issue is with their tremendous size. I’d have preferred shrinking them down and maybe surrounding them with climbing roses or something to make it clear the flowers were there.

The hammer shall be mine, however. The proportions work well on it and the textures are fantastic on it as on all of the set.

Would either of you mind sharing some examples? I’m iffy on the set in general, but it seems to have a lot of potential with the right apparel.

I’ve only previewed them, and on a Reaper (in a gold petal dress) at that. Even if I’d screenshotted the preview it wouldn’t help you.

I have a tendency to get skins I like and hold onto them for a very long time until they suit an alt. The only reason I haven’t done so with the hammer is that my maxed bank is chock full of things I don’t want to ditch … I really hope one day ANet lets us convert unlocked skins into transmute charges, I’d get sooo much bank space. Same with a tonics panel a’la the finishers one.

But I’d suggest you preview them on a number of alts, maybe while at a bank wardrobe so you can play around with various armor looks to see what looks cool shape-wise with the Devoted skins, then decide if you have an alt that would wear that.

if you like gold color and flowers you like, but i dont like gold colors or flowers in a weapon, so in my pov they are awful but good some people liked it not happen very often

I like the greatsword but I don’t really have a lot of use for greatswords (crazy I know!! seeing how it’s so commonly used) but the bow is nice too. My friend likes the rifle and is thinking about getting the greatsword.
