It’s pretty frustrating to build a color scheme for characters and here are just a couple examples…

-Batwing back piece is brownish. Night Fury bats are more on the gray scale. Chiroptophobia is gray and the bats are black…

-Whispers back piece is black and red while weapon have a gold theme…

So, on behalf of all the people who do not like having mismatched color themes, it is time to get the ball rolling on being able to color back pieces and weapons.

Huge + 1, also flames and gliders too. I think the huge success that the Lunatic outfit was shows the demand of more color options. Now imagine dyable Auric weapon skins and effects, or dyable CoF armor flames… well, one can dream.

There used to be a bug that allowed players to dye their underwear. That would be cool, too.

Do you guys know how long it would take to make weapons dyable?! Sure it would be amazing but a lot of work for very little payout on Anet’s behalf. Maybe I could see backpieces being done except we have the wings which are a palette swap… so I don’t think Anet will do that for money sake.

We buy gems and we bought Heart of Thorns. Our money should be used to add features we will enjoy. Making Guild Wars 2 more enjoyable will be remunerative. ArenaNet knows this, and that’s why they work on feature patches. I don’t think this will be more work than it’s worth.

Yes x1000. At least make the new backpieces dyeable, i absolutely love the new design of the ascended whispers backpack, but the color scheme doesn’t fit my thief at all… I mean how much work would it take to add dyeable channels to the current ones?

Well, yes it would take work. They could just go through and at least give a basic color palate to all exotic and up quality weapons, black lion weapon skins and back pieces.

I firmly believe that doing so would create a big boom in the tyria fashion industry. I know I would buy more weapons off the bltc and chest keys for tickets if they did this.
