I though Defender runes used to heal around 4k~ish hp but now wiki says its only 1500

Anyone knows about this?

There is an edit on the wiki from jan 29 this year regarding the amount healed, roughly matching that. No idea if it’s actually a nerf or just correcting an incorrect note, as there’s no discussion on the talk page or links to any other discussion.

I tested it.

It healed me for 4126. The aegis from bonus 4 does trigger the heal from bonus 6.
