Did quickness nerf affect PVE bosses too?

Logically, they should hurt less now. Hopefully, the nerf wasn’t one-sided and it should make bosses less deadly too.

Specifically, I remember the CoF p1 boss using quickness. Does he seem to hurt less now?

You mean the first champion you encounter in path 1?

Legendary Searing Effigy = boss
Champion Slave Driver =/= boss

Quit it with the semantics. What is a “boss” or “not a boss” is not for either of you to decide; it’s ANet’s prerogative, and since they haven’t specified, no one should care.

Cue Trahearne: “Moving on.”

Yes, the Slave Driver utilizes quickness when he falls below 20% HP. Yes, his quickness was nerfed as well, so he benefits much less and loses a lot of burst when it activates.

The silver reward dropped by all bosses plus the bag of wondrous goods. Don’t be dense.

It’s a boss for all intents and purposes.

I’m not being dense.
When you rescue the engineer by killing the acolytes in that same path and get silver and a bag of goods, that is not a boss fight.

Conversely, when you kill the Champion flamethrower flame legion blocking the bridge, you get nothing.

Loot (in the form of silver and/or bags of w. goods) is awarded for completing key objectives.
Dungeon completion is awarded for killing the boss.
