I know “when it’s ready”.

However, I was under the impression it was spring of 2016. I don’t know why I thought that, maybe saw/heard it somewhere. That is why I’m asking here, did they give a window yet for LS3? Or are we in the middle of LS3 now with these new bandit/ley-line events? I doubt it, but hey, you really never know what Anet has planned do you?

July was always the working time frame from Mike O’Brien, it was never given as any earlier. It may or may not arrive with the quarterly patch, but the most up to date window is within the month or so.

July was the estimate date by players. The release schedule, if the removed article turns out to be correct, will be updates every 2-3 months. So expect at most two living story updates this year with the next one likely at the end of January next year. There’s also a good possibility that we may get only one since they don’t combine LS with holiday events as we saw back in 2014.

The only definite scheduling we got on it was “after raid wing 3 is released.” And when the six people were moved from legendaries to LS work, MO said that might mean earlier release of LS3 but he couldn’t promise anything.

As raid wing 3 has been released, and we have all these preliminary events happening in the world (which are not LS3, they are buildup to it), we could get an actual LS3 chapter any time now. Will we? We may not know until the patch hits, though I’d hope there’d be some ballyhoo in the week leading up to it so absentee players know to come on back to get ready.

There is no official word. Just best guess work of, July which should have a quarterly update. Seeing as most content only comes with the quarterly updates(unless otherwise stated), that’s the best guess.

Don’t believe me? well been almost a year and the only kittening content you get was raids. Oh sure they fix bugs in updates but I am talking about updates.

They have specifically stated that LS3 and raids are separate.

The content drought outside of raids has been very disappointing, but your rant is wrong. They’ve always said LS3 is actively in the works, and they said it will be coming after the 3rd raid wing release (which was two weeks ago). Raid story isn’t LS3, and it was never intended to be. Plus, every two weeks for the past couple of months, we’ve been getting small bits of story leading up to LS3. It’s not much, but it’s something, at least.

This is ironic to me as the countless posts I’ve seen prior to raids asking just for this feature. How many times in the forums would you see “What! No raids?” You could search for yourself but the search box is still broken. Now that they are here, people complain about how they’re here? /sigh

They are focusing on releasing skins until then

If they really meant quarterly, then the next update is either in 2 or 4 weeks, I’m wagering the later.

NO official date but they want to take their raids and E-sports to an all new level. That’s right the content could very well be ready to ship for all we know but they’ll probably release it the week of the next WoW expansion or a week that another competing MMO is releasing something maybe they will take another world tour of the big gaming events first like with HoT.
