I am on US Server and if I want to send an item to a friend on EU server, will he get the item? Thanks.

I wonder what is the difference?

You can send items across EU and the US, even the tradingpost in the game covers both regions.

Main difference is in WvW. NA servers fight each other and EU servers are on other group.

You can send mail, including items between regions. The Trading Post is also shared between all servers.

The only thing you can’t do is actually meet up in the game.
