Difference btw. Versatile and not, infusions
The versatile infusion can be applied in an offensive or defensive infusion slot, whereas the normal one can only be applied in the offensive slot. For infusions of defensive stats, the normal ones can only be applied in defensive slots.

You must really be into min maxing to go that far, I only use the versatile +5 agony infusions from Fractals of the Mist. Glad to be of service!

Yep the only difference is that versatile can be slotted into defencive slots as well as offensive slots.
To slot 6 versatile mighty infusions into your armor will cost you ~1200g currently for a total of +30 power.
that much huh… hardcore farming it is! XD i’m not into the “min-max” actually, it’s just good to see when you have the “end game” infusions on your “end game” items.

It should be noted that when you link the items in chat the infusions will not show up. You will be the only one who knows you have them.
