I know this should really go in the suggestions section, but since it isn’t here anymore I’ll put it here.

I think we should be able to have different dye settings for different weapon sets/attunements/tools. I have a elementalist, which was what sparked the idea, and I have her in different shades of red because I mainly use fire. I was thinkin though, that we could have different dyes for sets, so I could switch to different shades of blue for water, purple for lightning and brown for earth. I thought that would be really cool, and that not only for the ele, but for normal weapon sets as well.

I tend to agree but not in the way you are describing, I would rather have the opportunity to create presets for color choices and then save them for easy recall if I swap out my armor/weapons. This wouldn’t be hard to accomplish, IMO.
