I have salvaged quite a few exotics over the course of this game, and I am getting the distinct impression that certain pieces of armor are more likely to give a greater number of salvage results.
Anyone else think, or believe that salvaging a Chest piece is more likely to give ecto, darkmatter, and insignia, than salvaging a Head or Foot piece?

Maybe its just trauma from salvaging a pair of gloves and getting 1 silk.

this forums’ functionality is horrible…

i normally get all kinds of crazy stuff when i salvage, though i use a BLSK so it always gives a rune. I dont think it matters what kind of armor you salvage, but 1 silk from exotic gloves is depressing.

Also as a side note, only certain stat combos will give an insignia.

Only the amount of common mats (metal/leather/cloth) is different, depending on the piece of armor you salvage.

A Chestpiece gives you more on average than gloves.

Hey .. silk is at least better than just getting a piece of T5 wood or mithril ^^

And its especially frustrating if you use a BLSK and don’t get anything else beside
the rune of course.

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
