Has Anet has considered allowing you to have different traits depending on which weapon swap you are using?

For example, I would like to have different traits for my staff on my guardian than my Greatsword if possible.

If people could customized there traits, It would unbalance the entire game.
Everyone would be OP. Not sure if Arenanet wants to grow to that direction.

Based on how specific you want to be… Yes they considered it, and yes they implemented it…
For Ele’s when they weapon swap the trait responds according to the weapon switched too.
~not trolling, changing elements triggers as weapon swap on sigils so it counts as weapon swap.
