if a player bought only the normal edition, is it possible to upgrade to the digital deluxe without having to repay for the game again?

Yep, you can buy it for 2000 gems (I think) which is about $20 dollars. I’m thinking about doing it myself.

its $25 to upgrade with gems, in-game. 800 gems is $10 and the upgrade costs 2000 gems.

Can you do 2,000 gems for $20? I thought you only got 1,600 for $20.

So, it might cost a bit more than $20 at the moment (unless they are having a special promotion or something…and if they are, jump on it).

Yeah it’s been a bit since I looked, I was incorrect. It’s more than $20.

Or you can exchange gold for gems. If you put in the effort at level 80, you can make over 5g a day… and that’s on the low end of the scale. It doesn’t take overly long to earn it in game.
