Logged on this evening and received a mail saying i’d received the GWAMM title in error, when I checked all my GW1 titles have gone.

I never earned the GWAMM title, my highest is Flameseeker and I never received it in error either. It is easily checked by typing my account name (without the numbers) into the GW1 HoM reward calculator.

Did this happen to anyone else? I hope it is fixed soon.

It’s an old bug that’s popping back up. It’s related to an even older bug where people got the titles when they made a new char on a particular date. When they fixed it, the game had a new bug where it told people (sort of randomly) about the titles they weren’t supposed to have, regardless of whether or not they had legitimate Guild Wars 1 titles. Just report it as a bug.

I think you can get your titles back by switching characters. Depends on how this bug works.

Yeah, this bug happenned to me on new character creation. I just swapped characters and back and it was fine.
