You guys get updated every 2 weeks. Christmas doesn’t happen every 2 weeks.

Certainly more then all other MMOs. But what has this to do with the matter at hand?
Or did my implication that “balance changes can wait 2 weeks for the sake of a big tournament” seem too selfish? Besides, it’s not like balance is in a bad state and needs urgent changes.

I have no idea why you had such huge expectations for this update… maybe not paying attention to the previews? This was obviously going to be largely focused on the living world story from everything that was released before, there was very little mention about balance changes. Those things, like the progression of new skills and new weapons, were talked about in an article looking forward to the second half of the year, and will most likely roll out over many updates for the next four months or so.

Also: I appreciate tooltip fixes. At least that means we actually know what our skills do instead of equipping stuff that says one thing and does another.

lol About sums it up. Not to mention, the stuff he expected has been mentioned many, many times, that it’s still a little ways off ie: skills/traits re-balance.

Dear lord people. And honestly, tooltip fixes were something people were complaining about and that focusing on living story while ignoring the game actually working was a bad thing.
So yes! Thanks for the fixes. :] I was just complaining about them. I care that the game actually works properly.
And culling fixes too. Come on, that’s far better than more Logan fawning over the queen right?

Balance patches are almost always with PvP in mind.
