I’ve been running celestial jewels on my ranger in sPvP for some time now, and full celestial on my D/D ele to challenge myself. Celestial is great in sPvP, and it provides you with a wide array of stats you wouldn’t normally be able to get. My question is, the moment you step into PvE, why is there magic find tacked onto celestial trinkets? Do people actually use them for magic find? I’d much rather have a slight stat increase on the 4 main stats (power, precision, toughness, vitality) and have no magic find, but I’m not sure what the community thinks of magic find on celestial gear.

Please discuss!

Are you talking about http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Celestial_Sigil?

I was under the impression that it was just the “one of everything” kind of item. I don’t see it as having 4 primary stats. MF is just another stat. People use them if they want a balanced stat-build and/or higher total stats.

I don’t PvP, so I don’t know much about it. Does loot drop in sPvP? If not, I would guess that is why they left off Magic Find in the stats. The way Celestial stats work is a bit of increase to every stat viable for the game mode.
