Hi Everyone,

Just wish to hear your opinions on the following on back items which is beside the earring slot on our Character Hero Menu.

Currently, I know of 2 ways to obtain it:

1. Via Personal Storyline (Level 80)
Item is: Berserkers Spineguard of the Berserker,
Cost: Reward F.O.C
+18 Power
+13 Precision
+1% Critical Damage
Unused Upgrade Slot

2. Via Guild Armorer
Requirement: Build Guild Armorer Status
Cost: 5 Gold
Item is: Guild Assassin Backpack
+20 Power
+14 Precision
+1% Critical Damage
Unused Upgrade Slot

So as you can see, its a difference of 2 Power and 1 Precision only. How many of you would actually care to spend 5 Gold on it? Is there anything I am not aware of that I missed out from my research? Please enlighten me thanks!

You are not mistaken at all, back slots are extremely limited. I never finished the story as i heard the rewards are bugged still t the en and dont want to risk getting nothing. I bought the backpack because it looks hilarious and after gearing up, money isn’t tight. I get a lot from doing dungeons anyway.

I’d like to know why we can’t craft something for this slot

Please note that due to restrictions placed on my account, I am only allowed 1 post per hour.
Therefore I may take some time replying to you.

They seem to have wanted to make back armor rare ( why i dont know ) . the Engineer is the only character that can actually start with it .

I honestly dont see why a Leatherworker or a Tailor couldn’t make a back piece even if you weren’t able to make it till higher levels

Apparently, from what I’ve read, back armor like cloaks and such were in during one of the late alphas/early betas. They were removed for clipping issues and its been said/hinted/assumed that we will see them at a later date during a content patch.

I’ve gathered this from multiple sources but have no idea what is and isn’t true.

Hi AliceKaye,

I certainly hope that is the case. Would be good if it can be crafted thus more crafting contents.

Hmm not sure what any of you mean. My Ranger (50) has his back armor and had it for some time. My Guardian (50) has had his back armor for some time. My Thief (50) has had his back armor for some time. And of course my engineer (20) has his back armor BUT it won’t let me put anything in the “unused” slot yet. Pretty sure it was level 30 before it will let you. I also have a Necromancer (28) who does not have his back armor yet and a Warrior (20) who also does not have his back armor. So yes you get it wayyyy before 80 and not for 5 gold. My engineer got his free of course. The 3 50’s got theirs as a reward around level 30 or so. Hope that helps you. Good luck.

I’d spend 5g on it.

I spend more on things that don’t even give a stat advantage, heh.

Yeah you get your first one at level 40 (I believe it is) from your Personal Story.

But the one they are talking about is when you hit level 80. There is only two choices. The one from the Personal Story and the one from the Guild Armorer.

I just want it to actually “be something” if you know what I mean. Like a backpack, cloak/cape, quiver for Rangers, Toolkits for Engineers, etc.
