Guild Wars 2

Firstly I’d like to say that I enjoy the LS, and have been impressed overall with the content that we have seen in 2013. However, I (and many in my guild) have been wondering why we haven’t heard of a true expansion in the near future? I like the idea of opening up more map, introducing more races, professions, and cities. I understand that the LS takes up a lot of time, but that is the whole point. With all the time going into the LS, will we see an expansion at all? Many of the people that started the game in beta with me, have left the game to play other MMOs that have since been released, or that have been given expansions. Several of our guild mates have been heard to say to new people, “yeah the LS is ok, but it’s mostly just mending fences and stuff”. Even though I know that to be false, I also know that the idea is prevalent among many of those who may be looking at GW2 as a possible purchase around christmas. So if anyone has information that could illuminate whether or not an expansion is coming or not, I would appreciate the info. Thanks.
