Guild Wars 2

So I spend most of my time in Divinity’s Reach, mainly for crafting because it’s really easy to go from Market NPC to Crafting section.

One thing I’ve noticed…. and I’m sure many of you have as well.

The constant “sexual” moans.

Anet, you trolling? I was playing with the volume pretty loud and my partner came in and assumed I was upto something dodge.. lmao.

So yeah, what gives eh? :P

Havn’t you seen the female “cultural” armour you can buy in divinities reach?

It speaks volumes of the culture…

I hadn’t actually noticed anything like this but now that I’ve seen this thread I’m probably never going to be able to stop hearing it if it’s really there. >:c

Ive seen a few threads like this before, infact I probably have posted one myself. These sounds are so annoying and unnecessary.

I spend almost no time in Divinity’s Reach (usually in Lion’s Arch or Rata Sum), but I’m gonna go check this out now. Surely you’re all pulling my leg.

In all seriousness, I haven’t heard this either because I haven’t had my volume up or didn’t pay attention. I am mainly at the tailoring or artificing crafting stations while in Divinity’s (my human necro’s professions).

I noticed (and reported) that moaning in BWE1 already. Although I didn’t hear it as sexual back then, more as very very very bored. I thought being a female human in this game must be very boring, but now I guess I need to change my point of view. :P

I have also noticed the moaning. First thing I noticed, really, when in Divinity’s Reach. I believe it is unnecessary and it really bothers me. Don’t know if that’s just because I’m female or not, and the moans are always from females. But I really think they should take it out. I don’t want to have to go through the trouble of muting my sound because of this, as I like hearing atmosphere, NOT moans…

Go to The Grove then. TP and craft section are close and nobody moans. But you can hear some interesting stuff about “the concept of coincidence” xD

Well, If you read the books you know that the humans were decimated in a war, so they’re just in the ‘rebuilding phase’ right now.

Rebuilding you say? Is that why I always hear it near the crafting stations?

Definitely agree. I’ve spent much time crafting in Divinity’s Reach, only to hear:
‘aaaaaaaah’ or ‘oooooh’ pleasured moans from some random female ambient noise.

It plays on a regular basis if you stick around long enough in the crafting areas. There are several different versions of the female noise too.

i love the sound, if you hate change to german language.

Sad thing is that those sounds are there from the very beginning…
People noticed them only now because for one day, people remebered that Lion’s Arch isn’t the only city in Guild Wars 2.

Anyway… Rule 34, no exceptions.

Yeah there are two things broken in Divinity’s Reach.
One thing is that some random voiceacting is constantly repeated.
The other one is that one of the random voiceacting is the voice of woman constantly moaning in a more then obvious fashion.

Must be an insider joke at ANet though.
