I heard that new players got a free server swap or something and as a veteran (somewhat…I bought the actual game in 2014) I was wondering if I got a free server swap as well. Cause my character is on an EU server and I don’t talk to those friends anymore so I wanna swap to a NA server to play with another friend, but I’m also cheap and don’t want to pay for it lol.

You can get a free server swap by deleting all of your characters. Just make sure you remove any soulbound items from your bank before doing so, as well as deposit any materials in your character(s)’ inventory.

If you start on a free account and then upgrade to a paid account you get a free server transfer – but that’s because when you create a free account you don’t get to choose your server, you just get dumped on whichever one the game chooses for you and cannot transfer until you buy the game.

There’s also the method RoseofGilead mentioned which is available to everyone buy obviously more reasonable for new players – delete all your characters and you can transfer for free. You’ll keep all the items in your bank, all your gold, wardrobe unlocks, achievements and anything else which is account bound rather than character specific.
