Okay, since there’s a sale for it right now I’ve been thinking if I need another one. I already have 5 slots, in those 5 slots I have: Copper-fed Salvaging Kit, Mystic Forge Conduit, then permanent gathering tools for the 3 slots remaining.

I don’t have any of the expensive convenience stuff like Bank Access Contract/Trading Post Contract/Vendor Contract etc. I have the Royal Pass but I only find myself using it on one character so I don’t feel the need for an extra slot for that. Also, I don’t feel the need for a slot for the portal stuff for Living Story S3 maps, I don’t mind going there via map waypoint.

So with all of that said, do I need another shared inventory slot?

Omni Fractal Potion?
If you play fractals with more than one character it’s already useful to have another one. If not, then nah, don’t see a reason.

Only you can decide that. I’m going to get more because I want to reach a point where I can hop onto any of my nine class toons as I feel and do the same daily routine without worrying who’s carrying what. To that end, I’d prefer to keep all my keys in those slots, for home instance chests.

I don’t think you ever “need” anything to put in a shared slot beyond possibly the copper salvage kit.

I put the single use vendor/BLTC passes in shared inventory slots. (Don’t have permanent) Because these tend to be emergency use items, I find them only getting used if I put them there, instead of spread out among my characters.

These things are generally the things I end up clicking the most in practice, or at least ones I would find annoying to go look for. Obviously the consumables are somewhat overkill but the slots were on sale, so hey.

Also, I bought the Silver-Fed out of boredom. I do not recommend it as a practical purchase.
