Ive been working towards getting my JP achievements up. But it seems like the best I ever get is a masterwork weapon/armor. Do they ever drop anything of value?

I received one rare while doing all of the Jumping Puzzles. I also think I’ve gotten a rare out of the Obsidian Sanctum Jumping Puzzle.

I’ve gotten a few crests out of Troll’s End and Weyandt’s Revenge, otherwise nothing special.

Rare is the best I’ve received. In other words it is a waste of time to really do any jumping puzzle other than the WvW ones for the badges/siege blue prints after you get the achievement for completing it the first time.

the best i got was the obsidian sanctum and i got an exotic axe called faithful. Other than that, Andre’s adjournment gives a nice little chunk of t6 mats occasionally.

I got an exotic staff once. The JP right after Morgan’s Spiral. Very very exciting.

Already got atleast 5 exotics and 10 rares

My level 70 Ranger did Spelunker’s Delve in Caledon Forest yesterday and got 2 level 1 blues!

I got a charrzooka once from that southeast JP in southsun cove. Worth 23g at the time.

Every JP chest I open gives me 10 exotic fun’s.

Na the best I ever get is an achievement, but I still do then cos they are great, well all except the wvw ones…. There I die to fast… Lol

Not for me. I don’t recall ever getting anything from a jumping puzle chest but standard blues and greens. Certainly never an exotic. If I ever did get a rare it was so long ago that I’ve forgotten about it. I still do the jumping puzzles, though, because for the most part they’re fun. Gotta say I do not like the ones you have to rush through. Just making the jumps is tough enough for me.

I generally received one Rare when I did them on my ranger (after he hit 80) the first time. I have not gone back for some of them but when I did Urmaug’s Secret (far eastern bit of Lion’s Arch behind the waterfall) daily I wasn’t getting awesome items after the first couple times. Occasionally a gem shard (Tier 5 gem) or Masterwork medallions/sigils.

So you can kind of “tap them out” I guess?

Gotten a few rares and quite a few crests. Generally the main reward is that you can just just keep redoing them when you’re in the area, and if you do it once, most of them are much easier to repeat.

WvW jp are the best since they give badges and first time doing them gives siege weapon blueprints and karma canisters.

hmm I get plenty of laughs…does that count?

Some jumping puzzles have one big chest and up to 3 smaller ones.

always blues and greens for me, since they are RNG some have luck most don’t.

All kidding aside, I’ve had 2 exotics from the jumping puzzles in Lion’s Arch.
I got Moonshank from Troll’s End and a fugly heavy helm from the pirate one.

Got a rare out of one of LA puzzles yesterday, but that is, well, rare. I do get orbs quite often, blues/masterwork eq usually.
Basically, to get good drops you need to do JP’s often (remember, you can get rewards once per day per character – some JP’s are so easy that they can be done every day with no problem).

I’ve received quite a few rares and 2 exotics but I mostly get blues and greens. I try to run a few everyday, especially the one in Eternal Battlegrounds since it’s confirmed to drop precursors.

I would imagine there’s a similar RNG to the JP chests as with any mob kill.

I do them at least once for the achievement, but my repeat trips aren’t ever for the loot (though sometimes what I get does get tossed at a leveling alt).

Do you get something after completing the optional level in Super Mario Bros? It is just for the feeling of personal accomplishment and a few vanity points (achievements). It is about going to a cool place.

Getting anything worthwile … If I don’t feel like doing much I just to Urmaug’s secret and Weynandt in LA. A few silver in greens is nice for not doing any combat.

Have completed all jumping puzzles and dont think I ever got an exotic from compelting them. I do know however that I got a massive sense of achievement from completing them though. Especially the “Skipping Stones” and “Griffon Run” puzzles.

Precursors such as The Legend do have a chance to drop from a JP chest.

I’ve gotten a few rares and 2 exotics so just do some of the easy ones everyday to get a shot.

Once, I got 2 rares from the Weyandt’s Revenge JP chest in LA. That was pretty darn lucky!

Chaos Crystal Caverns, Spekk’s Lab and Stepping Stones each game me an Ascended fun upon beating them

The only ones worth it to me are the WvW ones, because I’m too cheap to buy blueprints!

The reward has nothing to do with jumping puzzles. At the end of most jumping puzzle there is a chest(Chest, Grand Chest, Splendid Chest etc.) Those chest can also spawn at the end of a dynamic event or after killing a boss and most likely they have the same loot tables. It rarely happens, but yes, you can get exotics from chests(even those simply labeled “Chest”) and people reported getting precursors too.

I got a rare twice on the Under New Management JP and an exotic ring after a maintenance. The rest are greens and blues and Medallions? (crests are the yellow kind)/green gems. Rarely an orb if any. Yet its the easiest lv 80 JP in the game and I will keep doing it because my machine can’t to any others that well.

When I did Scavenger’s Chasm I got a few rares from the end chest(s).

I’ve completed all the Jumping Puzzles except the Halloween one, which was really before I started pursuing them. Some I’ve done many times, such as Morgan’s Spiral…there’s that one jump in the Nightmare Court puzzle, that if you miss it you fall to your doom….you know the one I’m talking about. I don’t remember getting anything better than a green from any JP, but I didn’t do them for the loot, I did them for the achievement points. Better loot would be nice, but I have a generally cursed account and only get one rare about once a month and have only had one open world exotic drop, ever, that being one that didn’t come from a special event of area completion.

I usually get blues and greens, but I have got 1 level 80 named exotic before. pretty sure I’ve never gotten a rare aside from crests.

I’ve gotten rares out of the jps in lions arch. I hit those quite frequently just for giggles when I’m in town.

Best I’ve gotten was 4 greens that made a 1 yellow.

Haven’t gotten a yellow drop yet.

I recently got a rare out of the Metrica Province JP.

No i get nothing of much a few blue trash and maybe a green…oh and the Achievement..

I did majority of the JPs before the chest buff or whatever. So majority of the time I got blues, and the occasional green. After the buff, see more greens, but never seen a rare.

I think the most beneficial is the JP in WvW just for the tokens, if that has worth for you. :/

I’ve actually gotten 3 precursors from JPs. A Dusk, a Lover, and a Colossus. Count me kittening lucky.

actually hardly anything you do in this game gives anything good.

I got an exotic lvl 80 Berserker’s ring from the tiny chest across the way from the big one on the skipping stones JP in Southsun. It sold for over 8g.

They can give you good stuff, it’s just that it seems like you always get the same green crap because honestly if the rates were any better the sucky classes would be better off farming JPs rather than dungeons.

Pff that’s assuming they up the rates too much. I’m talkin about upping them enough to give people some frikkin hope. lol

They drop plenty, people just have to actually do them. Besides the ~5s worth of loot from a “fail” chest is still pretty good

A person claimed to get dusk out of a south sun cove chest a few weeks ago while I was there but I don’t trust anything as far as loot is concerned in this game.

Agreed that is a really fun jp and glad you got something cool from it.
