Yeah, another question out of curiosity.

One of my guildees just messaged me saying he got 60k epx from AC dungeon and his mastery bar literally moved half an inch. He was in the dungeon for 15-20 mins. I know for a fact I get way more exp from doing events. And we all know the gold nerf dungeons got. So what’s the point in doing them? It feels like they are really neglected. I see no purpose in doing dungeons anymore, maybe you guys can give me a purpose.

And fractals? Sometimes I spend more gold getting the keys to open the boxes then I do selling the contents within the boxes. And the gold transfer to fractals? I don’t see that anywhere. And high fractal levels are so long because enemies have massive amounts of health? Is there a purpose for doing fractals even?

Dungeons, not really no. Maybe if you are going for the armor collections, yeah, do them, cause that’s all they are worth now.

Oh, and the achievements.

Fractals yes. And with rewards being updated and an item to aid in leveling masteries, yes, fractals still being done

People will still need to run dungeons for the Gifts/collection items necessary to craft Legendaries, likewise with fractals.

It’s not the gold farm it used to be, but it still has a purpose. And for some, it’s more engaging and enjoyable than the SW chest train.

I still do dungeons, and likely will until I at least finish Dungeoneer. Only 1 (arah) completely finished so far.

Anet make Rev great again.

Yes…or I would be if I had the time and could find a party.

Sure, its not as profitable as before but you still get tokens, drops, chests, a modest reward, and the “entertainment-factor” has not changed for me.

Fractals is probably the most played thing in the game these days. The changes were fantastic!

Dungeons….well dungeons are another story….

They are for all intents and purposes, dead. Outside of the dungeon achievements and the CoF farm, there is no real reason to go in them anymore.

Your time is better spent doing pretty much anything.

Story is required at least once now for having unlimited access to the pvp reward tracks for each dungeon… unless anet did away with that.

I just did CM story mode so I can do the Dungeoneer progress in Spvp so that I don’t have to do the dungeon for little to no reward. Spvp seems to have the best drop rate for ascended weapons/armor as well while all PvE content chance is somewhere past 0.00~

Since dungeons are pretty much ruined and abandoned (they never really got enough bug fixes or balance patches anyway), maybe its time to open up the terrain to the open world and convert the stories to event chains, at least then people will particpate in them and they won’t just be massive chunks of terrain that are used by ten people a month to get dungeon tokens for what is now very outdated gear.

I’d take a lv80 Ruined City of Arah event map over HoT maps any day…

The quicker dungeon paths are reasonable money. I don’t make LFG dungeon groups, but if I see one I often join. It’s not insane money like it used to be but that doesn’t mean it’s not a bunch of free cash. If you have 15 minutes, why not earn half a gold plus drops?
