People do them, yes. Depends on the server, though. Blackgate does a LOT of stuff. And yes, there is a site for timers, but it is player run, so error is possible.
http://us.gw2stuff.com/en has more reliable timers since there’s no chance for users to disrupt it. But there are certain servers that run Teq regularly. I’m not sure about the wurm.
TTS US servers and TxS EU servers do it as a guild type basis. There are servers that do both daily as well. Other servers do a weekly attempt.
Only the big servers and TTS ever do them, the rest of the game gave both of them up after a couple of days.

i was doing map lately with my alt ant vabi server (low) and teq was there so i joined without any knowledge how to, did some dmg, some event – he died 2min to limit and yep, i think some ppl are doing him. it’s all about finding out who, what guilds, etc.
