Hey so im curious about how the questing between races is done in gw2. I’ve made a slyvari and my friends have made humans. They are all questing together and i am questing on my own since the starting areas for the two races are different. I was wondering if the races end up questing side by side at any point and if so around what level?

Yeah, around level 30.

YOu can go into your friends zone to play with them.

Race, outside of the first parts of your personal story and cultural armor/weapons, doesn’t affect anything in the game. Even races with long-standing animosity.

You can go to Queensdale and play there, whatever zone you like.

You’ll travel to Lion’s Arch, and from there can take Asura gate to any other home city.

Where is lions arch and what level can i go there? and then when i reached the level for my personal questline would i just waypoint back to my area?

You can travel to any races capital and thus their starting zone at any level. Every City has a portal to lions Arch. when you come out into lions arch there will be portals near by to every other capital city. And these portals are not level restricted.

just look for the round purple swirls on the city map.

Hit “H” on your keyboard, and go to the “PVP” tab of your hero dialog.

You’ll be given an option to “Go the mists”. From there, you can go to Lion’s arch. Once there, look for the pink swirly icons and you can go and port to any races’ home town. From there it’ll be a simple run to get to any starting area
