Because this sloth back piece has some intimidating arms. It looks like it would spend its time doing pull ups behind my back. And normal sloths don’t have elbow spikes, leaving me to believe this is some specially trained battle-sloth. He should be sporting an eye-patch and a cigar and talk like Snake Plissken.

I just looked at it… that is… disturbing.

Sloths don’t have to lift; they spend their lives hanging from trees and stuff. That’s how they get so buff. That, and they’re manifestations of pure evil and have demon steroid blood pumping through their veins.
