Not really. Compared to what City of Heroes would do, I don’t feel that strong at all.

I feel moderately powerful in terms of plot. Not full on SWTOR Sith Warrior levels of kitten -kicking, lightsaber stabbing and force choking powerful, but pretty kitten nonetheless.

In terms of mechanics, depends on which character/class I play. Open world my DH feels pretty powerful when I teleport in and mangle something with the trap burst combo. In PvP my mesmer feels powerful (and incredibly trolly) kiting people around a point while they die to conditions.

I feel the main issue is not PvE content its PvP limiting PvE content, they keep nerfing classes to the point that they are no longer fun to play to justify their PvP content..

Honestly in PvE many classes need a boost across the board in most weapons, there is a reason why so many classes don’t use heaps of weapons at all..

Underwater needs a massive boost as well.

depends, on non HoT zones I do. on the jungle however I feel like a scared boy running away from anything that casts a shadow XD

I play an immortal Charr warrior… hellz yeah I feel powerful.

But what would make me feel more powerful…. unarmed combat so I can punch a dragon to death.

I feel powerful most of the time, even when I die.
I think it is because I dont give a kitten about meta, so I’m never worried about numbers, or comparing my own damage with others.
I simply burn things and see them die. It never fails.

I felt powerful in earlier levels before I reached my 80th level but since that time, I don’t feel powerful (and I’ve tried multiple builds and have used multiple methods of gameplay). Don’t get me wrong, I love my thief – mainly due to the concept of a thief, but I don’t feel powerful … I feel average.

As a level 80 ranger I would say, no. I feel like if I play smart I can survive in Orr but certainly not powerful.
If I need my fix of feeling powerful I’ll take my toon back to a low level area and harass some mobs.
At level though, I don’t think harassing multiple mobs at once is such a great idea. (it’s a mixed spec for using spirits)

Strange, I’m a lvl 80 ranger as well, and I feel OP as heck. I can afk in the middle of a zone, and come back surrounded by corpses. As a Druid, summoning astral forces and the like, I feel demi-god-ish.

After facing the elite toxic queen spider several times now I can say with absolute confidence that I now feel like a total kitten loser. I can’t dodge fast enough, my real life reflexes, (mind speed if you will,) is far too slow and my character is a casualty far too often in the fight.

So no, GW2 does not make me feel anything but my old age LOL.

oh well, game is still fun once in a while for me. Keeps me humble. Keep GW2 as it is. I fail at it but like it at the challenge level it’s at.

As necro reaper I feel immortal mate!

I feel since healing, agro and gobs of absorption are not front center in this game, to me vs the leading brands, my characters all feel vulnerable and I think that is by design. I actually like it, keeps you on your toes. There are plenty of build types and ways to do it.

I have a greatsaw. Any class that can use a greatsword feels powerful.

Eh, just play an asura wielding small weapons like daggers. You won’t even see the weapons, so can imagine them to be anything. Dual wielded spoons, anyone?

Well, I specifically want them for my human, to make him look more like a monk. so an asura is out of the question.
