Pretty much anything by Two Steps From Hell fits in pretty well.

When I log in as a warrior the first track that play is Symphony Of Destruction – Megadeth

I like to listen to calm, somewhat atmospheric music.
Emancipator (trip-hop/chillout) and Ludovico Einaudi (contemporary classical piano) are my top 2.

I listen to the Ramones..makes me wanna kill

Usually I have in game sound on, but If I am listening to music it’s usually Feed Me or some classic rock.

I’m all over the place with my music preferences.

I listen to contemporary Christian music. Between the game and the music I get relaxed enough to sleep peacefully

When I dont chat with friends I listen to music while playing. Been a bit more chatting though since I started playing with a new crowd during SWToR.

But when I listen to music its alot of metal, black, death, pagan, viking, power, thrash, techno, industrial and so on. Besides that I listen to some Billy Idol at times and viking rock.

I can safely say, it’s alot of Amon Amarth, Marduk, Watain, Unleashed and Slayer in the loop.

I use the playlist option to modify what kind of music can be heard in-game, it works well! Too bad they still don’t allow per-region playlists though.

Sometimes I will bring up YouTube and listen to something random. Otherwise I make my own music so that I’m not hearing the overplayed radio crap :p

I use my zune while playing. I listen to Bride, Eowyn, The Letter Black, King’s X, and Stryper

I play a ton of psytrance and the like while I’m playing, a bit of Kaminanda, Cybered, Radioactive Sandwich, Chemical Brothers

I run a custom soundtrack via the custom game playlists feature. It’s buggy, but it’s really cool to have things sync up. I use a lot of movie and television soundtrack music, plus piano stuff by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Erik Satie, which seems to go well especially at night time.

I listen to game reviews, vlogs, audiobooks, and only occasionally music when I’m playing.

I usually just stick with in-game music a majority of the time. But if I need to dual task I listen to audiobooks (never though I would actually listen to books, but I can’t deny it makes me getting through books a lot faster these days :P), livestreams, radio, news, etc.

Music is usually anything really, I have a nice selection that happens pretty often on Pandora that is a lot different then what I normally listen to in the car and cleaning and stuff. :P Ranging from Disney tunes to heavy metal, so yeah… xD More often then not just classical music since you can’t go wrong there.

I listen to the ingame music if I’m speakers but not if I’m on headphones so I throw up iTunes and run my usual playlists, the main reason being that the Logitech G930 doesn’t agree with how the game’s engine processes sound, though if it did I would have stuck to ingame sound/music.

I turned off my Ingame music about a week after I got the game. Pretty much Whatever Track I select gets played over and over and over again until I get sick of it. I put my Repeat on along time ago and forgotten about it.

Recently I’ve been listening to Live Stream Public Radio. If I’m not listening to that it’s old TV shows playing in the background. It’s interesting to Hear the Show rather then Seeing and Hearing it. That and well I found the Old Radio show from Grand Theft Auto Vice City on Youtube and Downloaded it. VCPR or Vice City Public Radio. Funny Stuff.

ADD: I listen to The Hives,Foo Fighters and other bands like that. Basic Rock for me.

Don’t remember hearing any in WvWvW or sPvP, but that’s probably just the adrenaline blocking it out.

In PvE, the music seems relaxing most of the time.

But what I really like to do is launch the game, and leave it at the character screen, then come to the forums.

The music give the Guild Wars 2 forums a more epic feel.

I haven’t listened to the in-game music in a while. I do for a few minutes, then go back to music.

Usually: Whitechapel, Winds of Plague, Within the Ruins, Machine Head, Chimaira, Lamb of God, Parkway Drive, and whatnot.

Helps focus the rage outbursts so I don’t break as many keyboards. (Only on #3 since release! GW1 claimed more than a dozen.. )

I quit listening to the game music after awhile. Now I just put on a full album by Nightwish or Xandria or Within Temptation and play to that. I recently discovered a new band called Icon For Hire that’s pretty good, too.
