This is a strong memory for me. I don’t recall who captured it, but I was thrilled when the person shared it! I didn’t have my room setup like that, but inside it felt pretty much the same. I remembered a video that lovely Ree Soesbee, and all the devs looked zombie-like anxious for GW2’s release!

Anyone else has good memories from before/right after launch?

I remember clicking on the log in every few minutes on launch day till the servers opened and the 41 hours straight of subsequent game play.

Funny thing is I don’t remember much after that.

I remember people complaining about the password color hash vulnerability.

That…is one clean and tidy desk!!! Mine…ahem….moving on!

The night before was a hurried scramble until 2am with my GW1 Guild Leader who helped me get my 30 HoM points ready for the fire vambraces. Which then couldn’t be viewed under my long sleeved outfit lol

I remember playing the betas, each one I tried perfecting my look for my Sylvari Guardian that I would like , and memorizing where they were when the game went live. As some of the betas started early, I remember I kept trying to log in way before the servers went live. Once they did, I went through the character customization Real quick, and I got the name I wanted. What a rush.

I just remember how awesome it was to play in the zones that weren’t available during the Betas. I took my time with everything. Such a good experience. I still enjoy just aimlessly wondering the world, finding events I haven’t seen before.

I totally expected this to be a Manifesto threat. Anyone else too?

I stopped raging at ANet for quite a while. The only thing that frustrates me to unprecedented levels is PvE difficulty… I don’t feel challenged whatsoever.
