It pretty much happens naturally as I do other things (like killing dragons or running dungeons). Same with the monthly, I don’t go out of my way to complete it, it just gets done by playing the game.

I’ve been getting a few BLSK lately from the daily, nice bonus!

- 4.5k karma
- mystic coin = 30s
- 5s
- possible black lion items:
—- salvage kit = ecto = gold
—- repair canister = 15s saved
—- black lion key = random stuff = gold

One would be stupid not to do them.

Like others have already said, it’s pretty fast to do them, and rather easy just doing your usual things around the game. So “why not?” is a better question. =]

Daily achievement isn’t actually time consuming and can be done easily. The reward is still worthy. So I don’t see any reason not to do the daily.

I usually do mine on low level zone (ex. Plains of Ashford), you can finish “Daily Kill Variety” and “Daily Kills” with ease as well as “Daily Gatherer” if you gathering low tier resources. As for the “Daily Events”, I find it faster doing it in WvW.

Stopped doing daily and monthly sometime in November. I only logged in twice a week for guild dungeon runs and then logged out as soon as the run was finished. I’m swimming in unused Karma and Mystic Coins so didn’t see the point.

Just rolled a new alt so am back to completing them again although I don’t try for them they just kind of happen. I will still give the monthly a swerve though as I’ve done nearly all the JP’s and can’t be bothered to re visit. When you weigh up how much completing that part would cost in WP’s alone it just isn’t worth the reward. Fractals, WvW and Events is complete for the monthly but cannot be bothered with the JP part. I play the game for fun, I have enough chores around the home to complete monthly without doing them in game.

I’m leveling my second character… it tends to compete itself sort of as you play… the more challenging part is finding events in those essentially empty mid level zones… but outside of that, it would be crazy not to complete them… it’s pretty much an entire level for free…

I do them, I’ve only ever missed one to this day. I switch between 5 characters, doing the events and variety and finish it off on the lvl80 for the max silver and gathering. I already got 12 levels on my ele, who has been parked in Plains of Ashford since he turned 35, only doing those 5 events for the daily (meanwhile gathering some variety kills as well).

as long as i can get endgame gear, i dont mind for more. i play just to play, the challenges and discoveries are nicer for me than grinding or farming.

I never really made an effort to do them in the first place. It’s all stuff that happens while you’re playing anyway so I’d just get on with other things and sooner or later (if I had enough time) I’d get the achievement.

Sometimes if I happen to notice I’ve got just a few things left to do I’ll make a special effort, but not much.

The JP are easy since it’s only discovery, not finishing them. Park a couple alts in LA. Each overflow counts as one. So you log on an alt, run to the start of each JP, go from overflow to normal, repeat (that’s 6 right there). Log on a different alt, another 6. Do it on your main and your total is 18 in one day with no waypoint costs. You can go beyond that by getting in to different overflows and repeating as well. I finished my monthly on day 2 because it was so easy this month.

But if you don’t care about the karma, pocket change, and coins, it still doesn’t matter.

I did my monthly in September (first full month after launch). The WvW experience left enough of a foul aftertaste that I ended up quitting the game for a while. Haven’t done a monthly since. Don’t expect to ever do one again thanks to the stupid PvP requirement.

Absolutely I do my dailies. Yesterday was the first day I have missed in a long time. 4K+ of Karma is completely worth it.

Mostly I do it through normal game play. If I haven’t gotten the achievement by close to the time I am done playing for the evening, I will switch to a different toon to get events or kill variety taken care of.
